This is the new yearly-plan suggested by daniel:

1 Birthday
365 – 1 = 364

2 Days Movies and functions
364 – 2 = 362

3 "Sick" days
362 – 3 = 359

35 Exam days
359 – 35 = 324

40 Public holidays
324 – 40 = 284

50 School holidays
284 – 50 = 234

52 Saturdays
234 – 52 = 182

52 Sundays
182 – 52 = 130

8 hours daily sleep + 1 hour for daily playing + 2 hours for food + 1 hour for talking = 12 hours every day
130 divided by two is 65

You have 65 days of school, including "movies and functions" where you can "skip" school, as well as 52 Saturdays, which I've added to better fit Singapore's context.

Assuming we go to school for 8 hours at a stretch, we go to school 195 days a year.

That solves the problem.

Hmm.... 0.o
Ok that makes sense...but I don't really know what exactly went wrong in the first plan.
haha that's a good idea!
